Rutland Water has an internationally respected reputation for sailing, trout fishing and bird watching and numerous competitions and events for these sports take place at the reservoir throughout the year.  However, the reservoir also caters expertly for visitors, and beginners or novices are welcome to try any number of exhilarating activities during a stay in Rutland.  From fly fishing, to sailing, from kayaking to windsurfing, professional instruction is only as phone call away.  In addition, the reservoir has a 25-mile shoreline, featuring a civilised circular track around which a pleasant day can be spent walking or cycling.

Away from action packed sports, the attractive setting of the reservoir in 3,100 acres of countryside, lends itself perfectly to a relaxing summers picnic, a leisurely stroll along the shore or a nap in a deck chair.

You can enjoy activities all year round with an Anglian Water Activity Pass for a family of upto 5. You benefit from free parking, a range of admissions & discounts on attractions, activities, retail & tuition across Anglian Water water parks. To view full details on the Activity Pass click here.
