Our homely coffee shop sells a lovely range of food and drink which varies according to the season. During the winter we can offer a selection of hot and cold food accompanied by a delicious range of cakes, as well as drinks to suit any palate. In the summer we offer various salads and sandwiches to keep our visitors going throughout the day, as well as our cakes and drinks. There is ample seating inside and out for our visitors to use.

Although we do not allow picnicking in the gardens themselves, our aim is to offer all visitors gorgeous, reasonably priced light refreshments that will satisfy their requirements during their time at Barnsdale.

The Barnsdale Tea Room has a brand new warming winter menu for 2012 using the very best local produce, ranging from all-day breakfasts and seasonal soups with crusty bread to hand-made cakes and pastries. There's a selection of nursery favourites for children and in the afternoon we offer a Traditional Tea with dainty sandwiches, cakes and home-made scones for a proper, old-fashioned treat.
Winter Tea Room opening hours: November-February: Wednesday-Sunday, 10am-3.30pm. Closed 24th and 25th December.

Free wi-fi, an extensive library of gardening books and children's colouring activities are available to our Tea Room visitors, so you can browse, connect and relax, all at the same time!
