The Olive Branch pub is situated in the pretty village of Clipsham just two miles off the A1 in the tiny county of Rutland. The pub was originally three farm labourers cottages which were knocked together to make a pub in 1890.

The Olive Branch is now a very busy pub, frequented by villagers as well as diners from miles around. The atmosphere is friendly and informal with chestnuts roasted on the fires in winter and homemade lemonade and barbecues in the garden in summer. The Olive Branch and its team are very proud to have been awarded the Michelin Pub of the Year 2008, Good Pub Guide Inn of the Year 2008, East Midlands Tourism Excellence Gold Award 2007, and many other prestigious awards.
The Olive Branch also offers accommodation in 6 beautifully decorated rooms in a recently refurbished house Beech House opposite the pub.
