Things to Do

There are some lovely swimming pools to enjoy in Rutland.  At Barnsdale Hall Hotel, (pictured) there is a wonderful indoor pool and spa complex, so why not unwind with a relaxing swim in luxurious surroundings. 

In Oakham, the swimming pool at the Vale of Catmose College in Oakham opened in August 2007 following a £500,000 overhaul.  There are some excellent facilities for swimmers including spectator area, family changing rooms and pre and post swim showers.  Disabled facilities at the pool include dedicated changing facilities and a hoist, as well as a set of gradient steps at the shallow end of the pool.  The pool is open every day of the week.
