Visit England Awards

Rutland did extremely well in the 2010 East Midlands Tourism Enjoy England Excellence Awards winning 1 Bronze, 5 Silver and 1 Gold award!

This year the awards are being organised slightly differently, as in the past there have been a series of sub-regional heats leading to the national final. This year, businesses will submit applications direct to Visit England, with no regional finals.

VisitEngland have just launched their new website for this years awards – www.vistenglandawards.org

The awards are designed to identify the very best of the best tourism businesses and set a benchmark to which the rest of the country's tourism industry can aspire. We think Rutland has a lot to shout about, and these awards show the rest of England that although we're small, we can compete with the big players!

Discover Rutland are happy to help with entry’s to ensure that they have been filled in correctly and that no one has missed an opportunity to promote themselves on the form.

Dates for the submissions are also slightly different to previous years applications close on 6 January. All applications are being made online and there is no need to complete a hard copy form.
