Rutland Water is the perfect place to enjoy a cycle ride in a safe and family friendly environment.  Cycling round the shoreline is a refreshingly different way to spend some time, and good for the waistline too!

The tracks around the reservoir are generally flat and accessible for all, making a trip on two wheels fun for everyone, from 8 to 80.

If bringing a cycle from home, then it’s as easy as parking the car and getting on board, but cycle hire and equipment is readily available at 2 convenient locations around the reservoir.

Rutland Cycling has depots at both Whitwell and Normanton.  The depot and store at Whitwell is one of the largest cycle shops in the UK and stocks a vast range of cycles for all the family at reasonable prices.  The store also features accessories, clothing and a work shop for cycle repairs.  It is staffed by dedicated cycle enthusiasts who are able to provide all the advice you need, 7 days a week.
