Michelin Rated Dining in Rutland
There are two Michelin star rated eateries in Rutland.
Hambleton Hall, a member of the Relais and Chateaux group, is situated on the Hambleton peninsula, and is one of Britain’s finest country house hotels. Its restaurant is a haven for gourmets and its Michelin star chef Aaron Patterson uses the best local produce in his delicious seasonal dishes. The wine list is extensive and the sommelier Dominique Baduel is able to recommend wines to complement any meal.
The Olive Branch at Clipsham, was crowned Michelin Pub of the Year 2008, and is situated in the small village of Clipsham, just 2 miles from the A1. Serving traditional and innovative pub food, real ales and fine wines at affordable prices, The Olive Branch has quickly become one of the most popular places to dine in Rutland. Bed & Breakfast accommodation is available at Beech House, opposite the pub, where relaxation, comfort and informality are the order of the day. Breakfast is served in The Olive Branch, where locally sourced, high quality ingredients make for a memorable start to the day.
Reservations at both Hambleton Hall and The Olive Branch are required well in advance, especially at weekends.
