Antiques

Thanks to popular programmes covering the theme, interest in antiques and collectables has grown significantly.  Rutland has a wide selection of retailers specialising in antiques and collectables of all genre. 

During a visit to Oakham, look for antique French beds at Swans of Oakham located in Mill Street; the widest selection of Oriental rugs in the area can be found at The Maltings.

For a vast range of antiques in Uppingham, head for Rutland Antiques Centre, where over 100 dealers present an amazing selection of antiques in a fabulous setting.  There is also a tea room serving refreshments, and delicious cakes, all set in an attractive walled garden.

Jewellers

Handmade and exclusive jewellery is available from a number of Rutland specialty retailers.
