Rutland's most famous landmark was saved from flooding when Rutland Water was created in the 1970s. Now with the floor raised almost half way up the church, it is a fascinating building with a unique history.

Normanton Church is now licensed to hold weddings, so if you are making a special trip to see inside the building, please call ahead to ensure the building will be open.

30 minute Guided Tours are available on numerous dates on Sunday-Wednesday's from April to September and most Sunday's in October.
