The Stamford Shakespeare Company presents an annual season of plays in June, July, August at Rutland Open Air Theatre in the grounds of historic Tolethorpe Hall, Little Casterton, just off the A1, two miles north of Stamford.

The Rutland Open Air Theatre is one of Europes finest and you can be rest assured that no performance is ever cancelled due to rain! Don't worry though, the 600 seats have an elegant permanent cover so the audience doesn't get wet, just the actors!

2012 sees performances of Twelfth Night, Henry IV Part 1 & The Three Musketeers from the 4th June until the 1st September.
