Did you know...
Easton Walled Gardens has a fascinating history, after being cultivated for 450 years as part of the grounds of a great house, the whole estate fell into disrepair after it was requisitioned by the army during the war. The house was pulled down in 1951 and the gardens were abandoned for 50 years.
2001 saw the gardens come to life again when work began to restore it to its former glory. With a David Austin Rose Collection, 100 varieties of Daffodil, 50 varieties of Sweet Peas, a yew tunnel, vegetable garden and so much more to explore – a day at Easton Walled Gardens is full of colour and variety.
If you can't wait until they open in Spring, go along to their Snowdrop week 18th-26th February www.eastonwalledgardens.co.uk
If you want more snowdrops during your visit, Deene Park has a glorious display of many snowdrop varieties to view on Sunday 12th or Sunday 19th February www.deenepark.com
