A leisurely walk in Rutland

If you, like many others, are researching your family history and your trail has lead to Rutland (lucky you!), why not come and visit the substantial local studies and family history collection at Rutland County Museum in Oakham?

Rutland County Museum houses numerous reference materials on Rutland and the surrounding area, general Family History titles (small loan collections are held in Rutland Libraries), and microfilm/fiche records including census returns and parish registers. There are also some old newspapers specific to Rutland on microfilm and a selection of maps and newspaper cuttings.
