Daphne’s Tea Room at Rutland Farm Park

Enjoy our home cooked food, cakes, tray-bakes and snacks in this brand new Tea room on the southern edge of Oakham. Our lovely Tea Room serves a variety of hot and cold food and drinks, snacks, ice creams and more. Food is served to sit in or take away and we do our best to cater for all dietary needs. We also offer Afternoon Tea, which includes a selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones and tea or coffee (booking required).

Country Cafe at The Lodge Trust

Set in ten acres of meadowland, the Country Cafe has a warm, welcoming, bright, clean and modern feel. The wooden building, clad on the outside with Larch and on the inside with a fresh honey coloured pine, has excellent disabled access.

Kavanagh’s Tea Room

A beautiful family run Tea Room & Bistro nestled in the heart of Oakham, adjacent to the historic 17th Century Buttercross At the heart of Kavanagh’s is a traditional tea room serving homemade cakes, scones and light lunches, plus a weekend evening Bistro Menu.

Grimsthorpe Castle Tea Room

The tea room at Grimsthorpe Castle offers mornign coffee, light lunches and afternoon refreshments. Enjoy home made food, cooked freshley to order using local ingredients wherever possible including vegetables, soft fruits adn salad from the Castle’s own kitchen garden.

The Garden Restaurant at Gates

A cosy and stylish restaurant seating up to 360 people; with an outdoor verandah that’s perfect for summer and a lovely ‘snug’ area by the wood burner in winter. It’s a warm and relaxed environment that welcomes visitors of all ages.
