Rutland may be small but it is home to many restaurants demonstrating the pinnacle of culinary expertise.  Hambleton Hall has held its Michelin Star for over 20 years and is one of Britain’s finest country house hotels, with a spectacular lakeside setting it is a haven for gourmets and wine lovers.

The Falcon

The Falcon Hotel is a stunning 16th Century coaching inn that is the pride of Uppingham’s historic Market Place. The charming hotel is situated just four miles from the shores of Rutland Water in the heart of the natural splendours of Rutland.

Hunters Bar & Restaurant

Set within a Grade II listed former hunting lodge circa 1604, Hunters Bar & Kitchen offers honest tasty food, locally sourced, created and prepared by renowned local chef Neil Hornsby. We serve specialist coffee from Oakham’s local roaster Two Chimps, local craft beer from the Oakham based Grainstore Brewery and locally produced spirits, including from Market Harborough the award winning Two Birds range of gin and vodka.

Don Paddy’s Uppingham

Don Paddy’s has a warm and inviting atmosphere in the heart of the Market Square, serving an innovative twist on brasserie food alongside an extensive selection of house and fine wines, continental lagers and cask marque awarded real ales.
