The Horse and Jockey is located in the small village of Manton. Aprox 1/4 mile to the west of the village is the A6003, which provides direct road access to the market towns of Uppingham located aprox 4 miles to the south and Oakham aprox 4 miles to the north. At Uppingham road links are available with the A47 providing access to Peterborough, located aprox 20 miles to the east and Leicester aprox 30 miles to the west, considered to be the main cities within close proximity with access to the M1 motorway and A1.
