Nestled just next to the picturesque village of Egleton, the Anglian Water Birdwatching Centre provides the ideal start point for your visit to Rutland Water Nature Reserve. Here you will find a well stocked gift shop, light refreshments, and friendly staff and volunteers on hand should you need assistance.
From here we run a number of events throughout the year, fromguided walks, to activity weeks for children, to willow weaving and hedgelaying courses!
The Rutland Environmental Education Centre is based here in the centre, providing free educational visits for school groups.
There is also a large and well equipped space available for hire, suitable for meetings, talks and events.
In the centre, we have a branch of InFocus, the binocular and telescope specialist, who will be able to provide you with excellent service whether you are looking to buy some new optics, or rent some for the day.
