Come and join us on our journey at Briarwood. Our second season begins on Friday 1st April 2022. Hidden deep within the Rutland countryside less than 2 hours from London and Birmingham.
Briarwood is a unique, quirky pop up glamping site located just over a mile as the crow flies from the stunning Rutland Water. With three amazing pubs within walking distance and the lovely towns of Uppingham, Stamford and Oakham all about 15 minutes away and yet in the middle of nowhere.
If your looking for total peace and quiet you wont get it here you will however get bird song, sheep song, cow song and the odd choo choo for those Thomas the Tank engine fans out there!
Not your average glamping site
Briarwood is steeped in history going back as far as Cromwells time. Hidden in an inspiring private forest with echo’s of the sites long, historic, sometimes taboo past, fully floored and extensively furnished humungous belle tents await you and your loved ones. (The two and four legged kind).
Enjoy your own private bathroom pod, consisting of WC, basin and thermostatic shower for the duration of your stay – hot water on demand and fluffy hotel towels to dry you down.
