    CHARITY CAROL CONCERT PLANNED

A carol concert has been planned in support of The East Midland Immediate Care Scheme to help fund a team of volunteer doctors.

Normanton Church on the shores of Rutland Water will be the picturesque setting for a charity carol concert this year. The proceeds will be donated to The East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme (EMICS) – the volunteer doctor’s charity.

All doctors in EMICS are volunteers who attend emergency incidents at the request of and in support of staff from the ambulance service. These doctors are all very experienced, fully trained in trauma work and are equipped to perform lifesaving interventions at the scene of a wide variety of incidents such as road traffic collisions and medical emergencies. Funds raised help support ongoing training and the cost of equipment.

The concert takes place on Saturday 14 December 2019 at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. The ticket price includes mince pies and mulled wine with free car parking at the Normanton Car Park. For tickets, contact Sue on 07757 975 088.
