We are extremely proud of our brewing expertise at The Grainstore Brewery. But not only do we offer great ales, but great food too! Using fresh, locally produced and sourced ingredients, such as Quenby Hall Stilton Cheese, and Grasmere Farm Pork and Ale (our own TEN FIFTY) Sausages and Melton Mowbray Pork Pie , we aim to offer an interesting, varied and regularly changing menu.

We are very delighted to announce that ‘The Good Pub Guide 2016’ has been published and The Grainstore Brewery has been awarded the title of ‘Own Brew Pub of the Year’. This is an amazing award and recognition of all the hard work that takes place behind the scenes and front of house by every member of our team.

The Grainstore Brewery was recognised in the 2023 SIBA Business Awards, which highlight the best beer businesses across the UK. ‘Nip’ was awarded Overall Champion Cask Beer of 2023 and a gold medal in the Cask Imperial and Strong Beers 6.5 per cent category. Whilst ‘Rutland Beast’ was awarded a silver medal.

The Grainstore Brewery is situated close to the railway station in the county town of Oakham. The Grainstore offers tours of the brewhouse and a range of excellent home-brewed beers to sample.
