Martinsthorpe House is set on the beautiful Gunthorpe estate over looking Rutland water in the distance, surrounded by open countryside. A lovely walk to the Horse and Jockey public house and a short drive from the historic towns of Uppingham, Oakham and Stamford.
The private house is a 16th c stone farm house beautifully restored in 2021 with parking and great walks.
The two double guestrooms are accessed from the main house via a separate staircase with private landing and bathroom. Tea trays in each room. A light continental breakfast is available in the main open plan dining living area.
Onsite is the groundworks for the ancient village Martinsthorpe and we are on the route of a lovely heritage trail.
