Our charming Grade II listed, country pub gives us the opportunity to invite to you to indulge in our passion for sumptuous flavours & superb quality using many locally sourced ingredients.

The tradition of great food in friendly and relaxed ambience at good value has been our priority for the past 30 years – our work at the White Horse, Barnsdale Lodge and Burghley house, has earned us numerous awards including 2AA rosettes, East Midlands Hotel of the Year, East Midlands Restaurant of the Year, along the way.

Whether you require formal dining or a light more casual experience our chocolate box, thatched country pub has four separate dining rooms with roaring log fires in the winter and plenty of room to enjoy our food outside in the pretty garden during the summer months.
