The Rutland Vineyard

About

A single site vineyard in between two valleys located on Jurassic limestone soil.

Planted in 2021 we have six varieties growing in the vineyard. We offer a 1km nature trail around the vineyard with six information boards all about our local residents that live in the vineyard!

After your walk why not try some carefully selected English wines whilst overlooking the beautiful views. We also offer freshly ground coffee and delicious cakes produced locally.

Vineyard Tours
Come and see what our vision is in our beautiful vineyard. The only UK vineyard to have a Master of Wine conducting the tour!

Have a guided tour around the vineyard and see why we are so excited about our location, soil, vine varieties, fossils and our vision!

After a walk among the vines, we will welcome you into the tasting barn to try some wines hosted by our very own resident Master of Wine, John Atkinson. John is one of the most respected wine experts in the UK and lives in Rutland and has decades of experience working with wine all around the world.

Six Pack Track in 2022
We are lucky enough to be surrounded by some wonderful countryside around The Rutland Vineyard. We have designed a 1 kilometre long nature walk around the vineyard for you to explore and see if you can spot the six types of wild animals.

Come and see and explore around the vineyard with fun fact boards at every stop! Be it a family stroll, a chance to walk your dog or just an opportunity to clear your mind we look forward to welcoming you and look forward to hearing what you’ll see throughout the seasons.

Sponsorship
Have your name inside The Rutland Vineyard for the 2022 grape growing season. Choose an end post over-looking the Welland Valley or facing the tasting barn. The sponsorship costs from £40 and comes with a gift certificate to mark the adopted row post, along with our 1st Edition English white wine, plus updates and invites before anyone else to our functions and a chance to be a part of harvest 2022.
