Rutland’s best kept secret!
In 2014, we celebrated 40 years in business as a wholesale plant nursery, so we decided to open our most ambitious project yet – the Garden Centre and Café. Focusing on a wide range of plants and core elements of gardening.

If you wish to explore an inspirational range of well-cared for plants with frequently changing fresh ideas, large specimen plants from topiary to trees for instant impact, sundries and, pots, a little bit different from the run-of-the-mill, we hope you will pay us a visit.

Our passion is plants. We aim to offer sound advice that 50 years’ experience brings, all in a friendly relaxed environment. We have strong links with local landscapers, designers and specialists who offer a wide list of contacts. Our reputation has spread by word of mouth (always the best recommendation) bringing those in search of quality plants to our Plant based hub. There they will be served by knowledgeable staff, and will be confident in knowing that the plants they are purchasing have come from our own nursery, and from our tried, tested and trusted chain of Suppliers predominantly in the UK, but also from across Europe.

Our Orchard Café has something for everyone and is family friendly. With everything made on site to order, it doesn’t get much fresher. A wide range of scrumptious cakes and treats to eat in or take away to share at home (if they make it that far!), hearty breakfasts and lunches, decadent Afternoon teas and Sunday roasts, there’s something for everyone. We also stock a wide range of local products to gift or treat yourselves to as well. Rutland honey, gins, rums and wines to say a few.

In the warmer months our glorious courtyard is open to enjoy the sunshine while you enjoy a bite and a beer.

The café also offers a small soft play area for under 4’s too. This is a free facility with sit in purchases from the café.
