Rutland Watersports Centre is on the north shore of Rutland Water Park at Whitwell and offers sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing or stand up paddle boarding, from beginner to expert we can offer you the perfect activity, course or day out for everyone.

Canoes, kayaks, SUP’s, katakanus and row boats are all hired on a first come first served basis from our Watersports Centre at Whitwell, we do not take prior bookings. You can also bring your own equipment to use with a launch permit.

To hire sailing boats and windsurfing equipment, pre-booking is required with 24hrs notice where possible. Please call the centre direct.

For a fantastic fun fuelled day out, Rutland Watersports is the perfect place to host your team building day, stag & hen do or birthday party.

The Centre is AALA, British Canoeing and RYA certified training school. Our friendly, enthusiastic and highly qualified instructors are sure to make your day as great as it could possibly be

Please note: Rutland Watersports is closed every Tuesday and Wednesday from November through to March and no launching of craft will be permitted on those days.
