Ceremony venues;
Oakham Castle is one of the finest examples of late 12th century architecture and is licensed for Civil Partnerships and Marriage ceremonies. The Great Hall accommodates up to 125 people and has an incredible history. It’s home to a large collection of lucky horseshoes that have been given by Peers of the Realm over the centuries (including members of our current Royal Family), making a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony.
Normanton Church is Rutland’s most famous landmark which was saved from the depths of the reservoir and now offers a unique wedding venue on Rutland Water accommodating 102 guests. The history of this building, along with the superb location and the elegant architecture, make it a fantastic venue for your special day.
Barnsdale Gardens’ stunning location makes a perfect and romantic setting for your wedding day. The Paradise Garden offers a charming pagoda, sheltered conservatory and pretty water feature which provide an intimate venue for your wedding vows and gorgeous backdrop for your wedding photographs.
Stapleford Park provides a dream country wedding venue, with options for weddings and civil ceremonies for different faiths, cultures and traditions. Weather it’s an intimate ceremony in The Morning and Gilt Rooms or a blessing in the 18th century Church on the estate, the experienced team will work with your to create your perfect celebration.
Wedding reception venues (many also offering ceremony options);
Rutland Water Golf Course also offers numerous opportunities for a wedding with spectacular views of Rutland Water. A new marquee-lined barn and courtyard are available for 180 guests but you can take advantage of their bespoke wedding package to design the perfect day with an alternative Tipi as well as full catering services.
