Whether you want to have a leisurely wander through the trees, get the kids to let off some steam at one of the exciting play areas or head for the latest children’s character activity trail. Hit the traffic free trails on a family bike ride (bike hire available at site) or take some time for you and reconnect with nature on our wellbeing trail, Fineshade Wood is bursting with opportunities to explore the great outdoors!
From a quiet and secluded spot by the welcome point, visitors can enjoy our new sensory play elements or view the varied wildlife that make Fineshade their home from our hide, such as the red kite or coal tits or possibly deer on the lawn in the distance. You may also see the greater spotted woodpecker in the nearby trees. And when all the fun is done, make sure you pop by Grounds Café in the stone-built courtyard for a refuel of delicious coffee and home-made ice cream.
