Primrose Hall is a beautifully renovated, Grade 2 listed stone barn conversion. It is ideally situated in the Rutland village of Empingham, within walking distance of Rutland Water’s North Shore.

The cottage has 2 good-sized bedrooms, sleeping up to 4 people, and a spacious, open plan ground floor. Fully equipped for modern living, it retains many of its original features and character. We welcome all guests, including singles, couples, families and friends. We are also dog friendly.

Empingham nestles in the Gwash Valley, equidistant from the charming Georgian town of Stamford, and Rutland’s county town, Oakham. Both are a 10-minute drive, or you can catch the number 9 bus just down the road from the cottage. Only 15 minutes away is the delightful market town of Uppingham. The village has a very useful shop, hairdressing salon and medical centre as well as an excellent restaurant at The White Horse pub, serving a wide selection of wines, spirits, cask ales, lagers and traditional pub food.
